Excellent for 12V conversions.
Built-in anti-feedback diode allows the LOWEST TURN-ON SPEED POSSIBLE; lower than a one-wire alternator. That is especially important on low RPM ag and industrial equipment.
You need this harness with the diode if you keep the basic on/off ignition switch. Diode is not required with ignition switches that have an on/start/run/off ignition switch.
